Ashlie is officially sixteen today. She is spending the week with old friends in Santa Cruz while I spent today back here at the office. We celebrated yesterday, at the festival in the park, but still, it was kinda sad to not have her here on the official day.

In these last months, we’ve come so far.
In the last sixteen years, we’ve survived a lifetime.
