Quoted – Annie Lamott

“If something inside of you is real, we will probably find it interesting, and it will probably be universal. So you must risk placing real emotion at the center of your work. Write straight into the emotional center of things. Write toward vulnerability. Risk being unliked. Tell the truth as you understand it. If you’re a writer you have a moral obligation to do this. And it is a revolutionary act—truth is always subversive.” – Anne Lamott

This is so true. She's always so spot on.
    Truth is always subversive!

  2. I've never heard this quote before, but it's beautiful. I've always tried to write what I know and not be afraid of it.

    "Risk being unliked"
I know a few people who never trully bloomed until they stopped giving a fuck about what people thought of them.
The truth (your truth) will set you free.
    I'm thinking of you.

Sorry, I meant to add; the trick is, to know before hand iether how people are going to feel about you or that they automatically WON'T like it/you and NOT give a damn anyway
Find a way to say your peice that even if/though they don't like it, that can't or won't argue that you're wrong.
